One of New Yorks’s best kept secrets is this serene and modern park on the edge of Brooklyn and Queens, called Newton Creek. I stumbled upon it it several years ago when I was location scouting for a fashion editorial. Hidden in the middle of an empty industrial area behind an unpretentious entrance with photogenic concrete walls which curve the pathway to the cozy little park on the river, there are rarely any passerby here, so you can enjoy the quietness and stillness so rare to find in this city. Since then I love coming here, now with Leonardo.
