– things i want to remember, always –
half way until the first real deal birthday, today we are celebrating your 6 month. past month achievements are many and major, and it’s hard to believe how fast everything changes. we were just welcoming your first tooth couple weeks ago, while now there are already two, one next to another. (so for your 6 months birthday you got your very first toothbrush!). we started solids, and by now you already tried apple, pear, papaya, avocado, banana and sweet potato, the last two being your absolute favorites. with incredible speed not only you grow in size (68 cm, 9,2 kg) but now you also start showing your personality. your blue eyes change shade from playfulness to boredom, from curiosity to frustration, but always back to smiles. you giggle when you watch russian cartoons and scream your objections when we take away an object somehow unsuitable for putting in your mouth. you sit, you flip, you crawl, you try to stand up whenever you feel your feet on the ground. so many new things, but one stays the same – it’s the way my heart melts a little every time i see your smile.
